Confrontations between representatives of different martial arts styles, understood as Vale Tudo, are addressed in this book from the mid-nineteenth century, when the first Contemporary Era records appear, until 1934, the year in which Grappling and Vale Tudo were consolidated in the Brazil to delight the world many decades later.By narrating numerous clashes recorded in old periodicals, from the most varied countries, and by revealing great characters long forgotten in mixed confrontations, the authors analyze the development process of the modalities that contributed a lot in the formation of fighters who dedicated themselves to fighting with few rules.
